Guild Wars 2 confirmed for 2012

The president and founder of ArenaNet Mike O'Brien moved this morning to the community of Guild Wars 2 with a blog post celebrating 2012 as the Year of the Dragon and the official launch of Guild Wars 2.

The Game recently completed a very small closed beta, and now ArenaNet is planning to open the door a little to test it quickly: "In February we will invite selected press to participate in the beta testing, and in March and April we will aggressively increase the size of our beta test event and many of you will have the opportunity to participate. "

This is the time that the Guild of Wars fans are eagerly waiting for a couple of years: the release sometime in 2012 of Guild Wars 2. O'Brien ended his blog post with words that guarantee a smile on the face of all fans of the game: "Welcome to the year of the Dragon, the year of Guild Wars 2."
