The excellent series of RPGs, The Elder Scrolls has always neglected the multiplayer. Bethesda told us it was virtually impossible to create a great and living environment for a player, and then replicate the multiplayer experience. Therefore, the only way was to develop a separate title, The Elder Scrolls Online, which has seen some gameplay at E3 2012. The truth is that it is not a simple replica of Skyrim, in fact, is so different that is already creating controversy among fans. At first glance, if we focus on aesthetics, looks like another clone of WoW, an MMO again, to what Pete Hines, Bethesda's marketing chief, has something to say about it.
In an interview with Eurogamer, admitted that "I feel that some people will wait Skyrim, but massively multiplayer, which, if we could, we would have done." "We would have done just a Skyrim let you play with a thousand other people." However, according to Hines, who have been trying it for the show in Los Angeles have left pleasantly surprised with comments such as "as he had hoped to read X, but I liked the real-time combat, or like this, I like that, "always in the words of Hines.
Paul Sage, a ZeniMax Studios, was also given several interviews during E3, where he had several aspects of the gameplay of The Elder Scrolls Online. In development for five years, we know that will allow up to 200 characters on screen and his time is set 1000 years ago about Skyrim and for that reason, there will be dragons. One detail that I find really interesting is the ability to go all Tamriel, from the snowy mountains of Skyrim to the mysterious lands of Morrowind, always in the same game.
Its appearance seems less mature than Skyrim, less dark, and perhaps less attractive to adult players, but I must admit that I have really wanted to try it. Meanwhile, we can visit the new official website of the game.
