Battlefield 4 Confirmed For The Next Generation Consoles

One of the main pillars of the portfolio of games from Electronic Arts is undoubtedly the Battlefield series. The war game from DICE has positioned itself as a good alternative in the reign of Call of Duty in the genre and, unsurprisingly, is the brand will continue to pursue in the next generation of consoles.

Battlefield 4 Confirmed For The Next Generation Consoles

Last week, GameStop CEO, Paul Raines, posted on his Twitter that just be amazed to see a demonstration of Battlefield 4, which confirmed the next installment of the series. At that time there was only EA confirmed that version and that will clear the doubts about the fate of the project: current and upcoming consoles. EA already has cleared all doubts and have a taste of next generation.

The brand manager of EA, Frank Gibeau, has spoken about the direction of the company for years and this new Battlefield 4. Last week, the U.S. publisher announced layoffs in its divisions of Los Angeles and Montreal, in a move made to balance costs with benefits. In response Gibeau wanted to clarify that this is all part of a transition from generation to generation. Something that is not presented as new investments where ever change projection sources. Confirmed at this point that some of this investment is being made in a next generation Battlefield 4, in a game that showed to a more than 500 store managers last week.

Actually the news is not a surprise. The latest financial results threw Electronic Arts intends to launch a new Batlefield 2014, what we are left with the overwhelming question of war game that EA would take during this tax year.
