It's time. Destiny is official. Activision has announced the highly anticipated new sci-fi franchise Bungie, creators of Halo. The title, which will be divided into three installments with several expansions, we plunge into a constantly changing universe update, embodying the latest generation of human beings struggling to survive in a story full lattice of stars and planets.
Destiny offers so much and yet so little is known. This large-scale work invites us to participate in an intergalactic cocktail of genres from the FPS, through an open world and all surrounded by a social and live to boast MMOs we know. These world at large constantly changing, places us in the shoes of the Guardians, the last generation of human beings who live in what appears to be the only city on the planet Earth that is still standing. Having lived the Golden Age of the Universe visiting Solar System planets, alien races now have destroyed almost all life of our beloved blue planet.
When hope had ceased to make sense, a strange ship called The Traveler has landed on Earth sky queen to protect humans from invaders. Who are they? Why do they help? Does they have other intentions? These questions and more will be taking response during an argument that will last for a minimum of 10 years in the current consoles and the next generation.
As a good MMO that boasts, our characters can be customized and upgraded, including their weapons and abilities. So far three classes have been confirmed: Titan, Warlock and Hunter, but is expected to be announcing many more for all kinds of players to find their reason for being in the main base of the game. Destiny is a changing world, and This will be based on a mandatory internet connection at all times. This can be problematic for a number of players, also stands as a path filled with opportunities to serve the user.
Most of the missions that they offer in the game may take place in solitary, although some may only be played with other human players. This title will offer a highly efficient search to help us find other users according to our requirements, to make the games much more complete. But next to the product announced for consoles, also launched a series of applications for mobile phones and tablets. Thanks to them we can follow the evolution of the world of Destiny, the position of our friends and the status of certain missions with only access an application at any place in which we find ourselves.
The game, which will not clarify fees (at least for now), will offer a new graphics engine designed for current and next generation consoles, surrounded by a sound and soundtrack by Marty O'Donnell (Halo) and Paul McCartney (yes, you read well).
As you could see, we have referred to Destiny as video game only for consoles . Currently, Activision has confirmed the product only for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and future consoles, without mentioning PC nor to Wii U. They have not talked about the release date, but seeing the enormous complexity of the title and how little has been shown so far, seems not arrive in time to land this year.
